DVB-S
Sandmartin’s success is mainly based on our innovative design of satellite STBs. Being much more complex than terrestrial STBs, satellite STBs are requiring much more effort regarding the software and the satellite related features.
After many years of design and successful marketing of our satellite STBs, Sandmartin is ready for any challenge in this highly interesting market. No matter if it is about new interfaces, new standards (like DVB-S2, Unicable, etc.) or new digital services (like advanced EPG).
DVB-S CI
CI (Common Interface) receivers offer the end user to choose the CA system of his choice. Sandmartin’s CI receivers are working with all modules in the market. Frequent made available firmware updates guarantee the correct function even with new modules.

DVB-S FTA/CA

FTA (Free To Air) and CA (Conditional Access) receivers are the main stream products of all markets. Sandmartin’s FTA/CA series for satellite signals offer all the choice you need. Rich software features combined with reliable quality make these boxes the right choice for your market.

DVB-S PVR Ready
“PVR Ready” stands for receivers with USB2.0 interface and additional software functions that allow the user to record and playback digital multimedia content. Movies and pictures can be stored to and played from external storage devices.

DVB-S PVR
PVR (Personal Video Recorder) receivers have an internal hard disc that can store and playback digital content. Usually a PVR comes with 2 tuners in order to record content from one channel while watching another one. Another important feature of a PVR is the Time Shift function that allows you to pause the actual channel and continue seamless at a later time without missing one second of the movie.
